Halloween Challenge

My stamping time is limited these days, since Nate is working in Casper. It is often just Ella and I! Since moving from that run-down house, we are in a temporary apartment, and I chose not to move everything, as it will just have to move again. I regret that... as so much of my crafting supplies is in storage. I should have at least grabbed my Halloween/Fall/Thanksgiving stamp stash! I wanted to send a picture of my little butterfly with a Halloween card to a lot of our family! I am still aiming to make a few, but without my normal stash, I'm having a hard time! At least if Ella would sleep alone, instead of trying to wait for me to go to bed, I could start stamping before 11pm! :)

Tea Party!

Jane and Meg came up to see me & Ella on Saturday. We enjoyed a nice girls day. The four of us went to lunch, spent time looking at the Doll Factory, and walking around Torrington. We topped it off with a nice tea party. Jane, Meg and I enjoyed some yummy apple tea and belated b-day cupcakes, while Ella had apple juice in her rice cereal. A good time was had by all!

Happy Bday Seth!

This is just a quick card I made for my little brother, who will be 11 tomorrow. Not sure if he will toss it, since boys will be boys, so I didn't want to spend too much time on it... and the fact that I don't have too much time. LOL. Fortunatly, I was able to buy his gift months ago. I am a bargain hunter, and an early shopper. I like to have things done ASAP. I don't always do it, but I try :)

Diaper Cake!!!

I made this diaper cake the other day. I am going to my friend Kayla's baby shower on Tuesday. I was looking for blue ribbon, but didn't see anything I liked. I spotted this yellow ribbon and thought it would be adorable to do a rubber ducky theme! This is the first diaper cake I've made. They are rather easy to do!!! Please ignore that nasty wood panneling in the background. I vow to never have panneling in any house I own. I hate this rental home!

Sugared....

I've been making a lot of cards with basic grey papers lately. Both of these have SU stamps and ink. I have soooo much paper, I'm trying to make two cards a day... Here are two of my latests. You can find more in my SCS gallery!

Pooh Bear...

Ella fit in her 3 month Pooh dress from Gen at 2 1/2 months. I loved this dress, it was just too cute and my baby girl looks like a doll in it. She was (and still is!) going through this "camera shy" stage. Ella will smile (now like crazy... and even giggle!) and as soon as she spots the camera she stops. I got cute little Pooh stickers at Archivers when I was in IL, and they work with the Pooh dress perfectly. Funny, cause Classic Pooh is the only ok charectar. I figure Ella will like enough dumb shows and charectars when she is older, I'm not putting her in them now :)

A challenge....

Here is the first page I've done in a few weeks. You can tell I'm behind because the picture is from Ella's two month photo shoot... she is almost 4 months. I did this page in just about 5 minutes, it's from a 24 hour challenge I did on Cafemom :)

It's been a while...

It's been a while since I last posted. I've been so in love with my little girl, I just can't seem to find the extra time. She is the most amazing person. And so opposite of most children. She sleeps through plane rides and fireworks... and only cries when she has a good reason. I couldn't ask for more. Today Nathan went to the cabin, so it was just us girls... and each moment I spend with her she takes a little more of my heart. I never knew I could love someone as much as I do Ella. She takes my breath away.

Thursdays are great....

As I still sit here in my pajamas... it being 9:30am! I am reminded of why I love Thursdays. A day to relax. I'm currently uploading a bunch of pictures onto this computer so I can update my SCS gallery with my latest creations. I've gone mad for Valentines this year! Not sure if it's this new motherly thing or what, but I am having a good time making my own decorations. Here's a little something I made for Ella.
I know she's not due until A
pril... but I figured it would be neat to leave her a Valentines love note every year... why not start now? I plan on making one for Nate & another for myself as well.

This cookbook cover was a little hard to
photograph as well... The
hearts spell out "recipes". It's kind of simple, but looks cute in my kitchen as an extra festive touch! Looking forward to receiving all my swapped recipes to fill this book.

Poor Kitty...

Well, we're cleaning and taking down Christmas decorations finally. The tree was getting destroyed by Ester, our lil mountain lion. She got really mad... wants that tree back... so she found something else to take it's place. Too bad I had to take that away as well! Poor Ester!
