It's been a loooong while

We've been bouncing around lately. Spent a few months in Colorado, about 6 weeks in Illinois. Now we've been back to Torrington for almost a week. Ella will be 16 months soon enough. She's walking about 50% of the time. She is a happy, loving, beautiful kid with a personality that just shines.
We've been through so much this year.
We lost our second child to an ectopic pregnancy on April 9th. I think about that baby all the time. We named the baby Cameron Haydin Anderson. Since it was too early to know the gender... I was only about 6 weeks along at most. I don't think I could get through it all without Ella. She is the reason I can still smile.
Cameron would have been born around Thanksgiving. I know that time of year is going to be really rough on me.
So for now, we are going to wait to try again. Things are too unstable in our lives to purposely have another child... but another baby would be MORE than welcomed.

Ella is ONE!

I can hardly believe I have a crawling, talking toddler already. I know it happens fast, but this fast?! Unbelievable. I am trying to relax and enjoy as much as I can... my sweet girl. Another reason why I'm doing the March of Dimes this year. I hope every Mommy has a chance at such a healthy happy kid like I do. I feel so blessed.

My lil scrapbooker

Ella seems to want to get into my scrapbook supplies more than I do, lol. She stole some journaling pens from one of my bags and talked to them for about 5 minutes.

A-Z Recipe Swap

Here is a page I made for an A-Z recipe swap I joined, for recipes using hamburger. I took "R" for Rachael Ray's Steakhouse Sliders. Yum! Now I just have to finish the rest... I love using my cricut!

Loving My local thrift store

I donated a bunch of unwanted/needed clothes the other day, and I always find the time to search for something I need. Our local thrift shop sells kids clothing for 50 cents each, and had a half off sale... I got Ella a bunch of 2T clothing which she will be wearing soon enough. I picked up this pair of jeans for her (from The Children's Place) and a cute top by Cherokee. I even found her her first pair of Vans! They are size 4, which she is in right now... but for a quarter I couldn't pass them up. I am going to miss this little shop when we move, I may have to make sure that I visit during times they are open :)
